Felt toy for boy


Often heard boys’ mothers complain about  why so few the felt toys for boys?
I admit that I had a daughter, so I designed more pink toys ,more play food for girls.
But I still found some not- so-girlish toys here.


Playing the cars and tools is natural of boy.
No doubt Toolbox set and Construction cars set are very suitable for little boys.
Yeah! We won´t worry about baby boy hurt his finger or lips.

My nephew is very fond of the cake truck house. He requested me send this truck to him, as it had been belong to my daughter.
I made another blue one for him. Change the color of felt, you’ll find it’s very nice gift for boy.
Vegetable garden and Doll house look like kinder party toys. In fact, they are also boy’s favorite.


When it is too cold to keep children out of doors,  maybe these toys could make up the regrets.

1. Cut a round felt.
2. Running stitch algong the curved outline.

3.Pull the thread taut. Stuff it with some cotton.
4. Cut a quarter circle for cone.


5. fold in half and sew along the edge.
6. Roll the cardboard into a cone and put it inside the felt cone.


7. Sew the icecream ball and cone together.

What I want is such a house


What I want is such a house.
I like the green yard very much, and swing.
And fresh flowers on the windowsill make me pround—-
A variety of ways have been tried,  the last method is easy and  receiving good results.
My daughter love this doll house than other bigger and  more luxurious ones.
She love to place the cows and sheep in the attic,  place the swing on the roof.
She is never bored with play the little furnitures.

Last week, she took the dollhouse to the kindergarten.
what surprised me is her teachers more interested in this toy.

The time I spent on making this toy is the longest in all the items.Maybe I will go on adding more small furnitures.Although it is for my daughter, actually I also love it very much.

A good news and a bad news


The blog in co.uk is blocked. 😦
Because of too much web traffic, the support request me to upgrade my account.
But it’s not accept the payment of Paypal, but credit card.  I worry about identity theft online.So I have to give up that website.

A good news is that I sold my first item on Dawanda.

I get people who ask me all the time: “Your felt crafts are so beautiful!  But I’m a beginner, can I finish it by myself?  “.
Usually I ‘ll tell them the most greatest difficulty in the making  is lack of patience and confidence,  and  I believed the patience that most mothers had  is efficient enough.
As for lack of confidence, sometime, I think it maybe the beautiful photos lead people to  be daunted.
I ‘m still willing to take beautiful photos,  and I ‘m going to grade all the items by difficulty and completion time.
