How to cut felt by cutting paper machine

I bought a cutting paper machine last week, it is an electronic cutting tool for personal use. Like a home printer it plugs into your PC or Mac with a simple USB cable. However instead of printing it uses a small blade to cut paper cardstock vinyl fabric and more up to 12 wide and 10 feet long.

I always want to have a cut feltting felt tool. I know some laser cutting felt machine could cut felt, but it’s too expensive and I can’t bring my room to the smoke and ashes.

So I have a try on this cutting paper machine and succeeded.

It’s the result.

1. draw diagrams directly on laptop by Coreldraw. Yes, we need vector diagram not bitmap, JPG…

2. I change the blade with a ball point pen, then we can get a drawing machine.

It’s not bad.

3. It’s a most important step.

Put a sticker paper on the cutting mat, tear up the bottom, Put the felt on the sticker.

4. Put the cutting mat into the cutting machine.

We should change back the blade. as the felt thickness is about 1mm, we should use sharper blade.

5. with slower speed and more cutting force.

6. It’ done.

New play food- felt fruit pie- made with 3mm felt

Is 3 mm felt only apply for making bag?
In fact, with the material we also could make lovely play food, cake, pie…
Because of the thickness, the filling cotton and cardboard are no longer necessary.
More simple than 1mm felt.

Big VS Small- Felt Pinkalicious cupcakes

This morning I went to swimming with my daughter, she’s so exciting!
When we came back, very very hungry. so we had sushi in a new sushi bar.
Then I was making this big cupcake.
Because I promised to complete this big cake’s pattern for a mother, so I have to working overtime. but it’s a wonderful experience.

Felt cake night light

Felt Rainbow Cake

I promised to make  a rainbow  cake for my daughter, but I didn’t start work all the time.
Today I’ve completed the rainbow cake.

Tomorrow I’ll take my daughter to Children’s Museum, So I’m going to edit this rainbow cake’s pattern and instruction on Friday.

felt cake roll-Most easy but cute

I completed the three cake less than 30 minutes.Of course the cream flowers and fruit pieces were ready.
I love the  green tea roll cake most, it looks so sweet.

I really love crafts that can be made with felt, accomplishing  any project because it has a variety of colors, is an excellent material for any occasion …
